Ideas is a group within Google that is focused on building software for the next 5 billion people coming online. These are people who currently do not have access to a free and open internet, and are living under the daily threat of violence and repression. The goal of the website is to spread awareness of these issues and share the products they've developed to allow for a safe and secure internet for everyone. A great project and cause.
